How many families are locked in the chaos of separation and divorce today? Too many. There is a lack of patience in people today, that patience that produces fruit and togetherness. It is so easy to walk away from adversity in our modern society because no one blames you anymore for breakups. No-fault divorce has created a situation in which no one is accountable for their mistakes or actions. Do we continue along this path or do we try to find Godly solutions?

I have personally experienced times in my life and marriage when prayer was the key to staying and restoration.
Because we dwell in human bodies, we are subject to our flesh, and our flesh can make extreme messes. A family that prays sets up a guard over the wiles of Satan that are designed to kill and destroy our relationships. Not just our human relationships but also our relationship with the Godhead.

Making a committment to covenant together with Christ as the head of the family will allow us to not just survive but to thrive as a family.

    Psalm 46 NIV

GOD is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of GOD, the Holy place where the Most High dwells. GOD is within her, she will not fall. GOD will help her at break of day.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts His voice, the earth melts.

The LORD Almighty is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations He has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear, He burns the shields with fire.

“Be still and know that I am GOD; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”. The LORD Almighty is with us; the GOD of Jacob is our fortress.
